Mount Vernon

Mount Vernon is a city in Skagit County, Washington.  Mount Vernon is the County seat and is also home to Skagit Valley College. 

Mount Vernon is most often visited during the Tulip Festival, but the city offers much more than that! 

The city of Mount Vernon offers recreation from the Skagit River which includes everything from fishing, camping, and boating, including access to the Salish Sea (Puget Sound).  Some of the things to do in Mount Vernon consist of the historic downtown tours, visiting the farmlands, purchasing produce picked that very morning from local vendors, viewing historic barns, playing golf, and attending live performances at McIntyre Hall.
