The Anacortes Farmer’s Market
611 R ave
Anacortes, WA
Saturdays from 9 am- 2 pm
Most smaller towns have a weekly farmer’s market. I have been to many of them in the Skagit Valley area. We are very lucky to have a full and lively market right here in our small town of Anacortes. Wherever you look, you will see the artist's character that makes Anacortes the talent-filled town it is. Bring that all together to a centralized location and you have The Anacortes Farmer’s Market.
Local Vendors
Vendors from all spans of artistic backgrounds post a tent and not only sell their handmade products but they share their knowledge and experiences with us, their community, so that we may know a bit more about what makes our town and our neighbors who we are.
You will see food and art including:
Handmade soaps, felt art like handmade hats and hair clips, sketch art, beadwork, and jewelry, locally caught canned tuna, handmade cheeses, honey, baked goods, and one of my favorites; Russian Dumplings by West Coast Dumpling Company.
Live Music
New! Music at the Market features Live music on the main stage from Skagit Valley musicians.
Volunteers Welcome!
If you want to help out and have the time, they welcome volunteers too! Volunteers can help the week before each market by setting up sandwich board signs, handing out flyers, and other marketing opportunities. On the day of, volunteers are asked to help with the set-up and tear-down of the market itself.
Visit the Anacortes Farmer’s Market site for questions about volunteer opportunities AND to see what is in growing season too.
